Chloe 3 Months...and Growing

Chloe is over 3 months old now and she has so much personality. She is growing up so fast and we have been so busy we have not posted any recent pictures of our little Angel. We are so sorry, and we are going to try to do better. I know that a lot of our friends and family check our blog for recent photos of Chloe, and you have been disappointed. Here is a recent photo of Chloe, wearing a sailors hat during one of our revival services in Delano. Her red hair is growing and her blue eyes are shinning bright. Daddy and Mommy love her so much. She is our precious little Coco.

50th Church Anniversary

(NOT PICTURED: Rev. Doug Wright)
On September 11-14 we had our 50th church anniversary. We had a great line up of speakers and God moved in a mighty way. Rev. H. Cantrell was the speaker on Thursday night and he did an awesome job preaching. Rev. Ron Mullings preached Friday night and also did an awesome job preaching about "Expanding the Kingdom". Saturday night Rev. James McPhail preached "What is Under the Blood" and did an awesome job reminding us about the power of the blood. Sunday Rev. Doug Wright preached another awesome message closing the weekend celebration. Sunday after the service there was a dinner provided where everyone enjoyed themselves and feasted on unlimited BBQ ribs. This was a time of reflection and celebration, taking time to thank God for what he has done for The Original United Pentecostals of Strathmore over the past half century. Thank you to all who attended this special event and had a part in our celebration.

Revival In Delano

The past two weeks have been very busy and exciting. Two weeks ago Sunday, we preached in the morning for Bro. Allard in Delano, on our way home from Bakersfield where we were visiting family. Sunday morning there was an awesome move of God and Bro. Allard asked if we could come back that evening to minister again. Of course we accepted the offer and went back that evening to preach. Sunday night was a Holy Ghost blow out. God moved in a mighty way and 7 were filled with the Holy Ghost and many others blessed. After the Sunday night service Bro. Allard asked us if we could return for the next weeks services and continue the work that the Lord had begun. So on Wednesday night and Sunday we once again watched as God moved in such a mighty way once again. During Sunday nights service, a woman received the Holy Ghost during the song service. We are so thankful for what God is doing in Delano and we know that this is just the beginning of many waves of Revival coming their way. Bro. and Sis. Allard and family are great friends and we love and appreciate them very much. They pastor a great bunch of saints and we really enjoy our visit every time we get the opportunity to stop by.
