One Week Old!

Today Chloe is one week old. She is now 6 lbs and 4 oz and changing everyday. She is such a joy to have around, Candace and I love her so much and wonder how we lived without her. I was telling someone the other day the best thing in the world is to wake up in the morning and to see your little girl beside you. This is a feeling that does not come from a paycheck, a new car or a fabulous vacation. This feeling only comes through the blessing of a child. We are truly blessed of God and we thank him for his many blessings on our little family. I always want to be thankful for what I have. God has been so good to us. We are determined to take one day, one week, one month, and one year at time.

Miss Hollywood!

Dad with his 1 week old Chloe.

Momma with her precious girl.

We are working on the bath thing. It is getting better.

Oh the joy that a child brings. As an "older" mother with our last little one coming along unexpected in our 40's, we pastor a church, and the days that we feel low with the cares of life, that little face will smile up at me and my world is made right again. Enjoy every moment, as they do fly past! You make beautiful parents to a beautiful little doll.
